Attest and Grow: My first solo show in Minneapolis since 2005 opens at Gallery 122
next Friday evening, September 7th. There are over 25 new pieces on wood and on paper, using mediums and methods I am just beginning to explore and am exhibiting for the first time.
The show is sponsored by Radio K and Summit Brewing Company (yeah for drinking beer while looking at art!).

Home is nice.

I'm home from my short trip to Philadelphia to attend the reception of my show at Art Star Gallery. Art Star was just like I imagined it would be: super cool. Art Star owners Erin and Megan were wonderful as were their friends and customers, I had a fantastic time.

Find Your Wings at Art Star Gallery

My solo show, Find Your Wings, opened in Philadelphia at Art Star Gallery on Saturday. Art Star has posted the entire show on their website here. I received a nice review for the show already in the Philadelphia City Paper and you may read it here. I will be in Philadelphia for the reception on the 25th so if you can make it, please come say hi.

In other news, I just got back from a much needed vacation in Wisconsin with family and friends, we celebrated Ella's 12th birthday with camping and swimming, and I set up a little studio in the woods and made some work for a hometown (Minneapolis home, not small town Wisconsin home) show in September.
